The "ER/ES type" is a high-power cement resistor that uses an aluminum extruded case. It is suitable for absorbing regenerative power from inverters and servo amplifiers, limiting inrush current, and energy discharge applications. The ER type is designed for horizontal placement (low profile), while the ES type has a footprint that is half the size for space-saving applications. The "EL/EK type" is a high-power cement resistor with ultra-strong three-directional heat dissipation fins. It can be manufactured to produce over 2kW in a single unit, making it ideal for high-power applications.
